Dr. Raz Tamir
PhD Computer Science
MSc Aerospace Engineering
Raz is the Nanosatellites Department Manger at Israel Aerospace Industries and the CEO of INSA, the Israeli Nano-Satellite Association which is currently building its first two nanosatellites aiming at launching the first during 2009.
Raz has 13 years of experience in the Aerospace realm, including UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), Engines and Satellites.
In 2006 Raz was nominated a research professor at the Mechanical Engineering department of the Polytechnic University of New York, USA.
Rei Kawashima
Rei is the Secretary of the University Space Engineering Consortium and one of the founders of a space venture company applying nanosatellite technology to society called AXELSPACE Corporation, which obtained corporate status on August 8th, 2008.
Rei has an extensive and varied academic background, which includes a BA in Chinese Literature from Hokkaido University, Japan, and other intensive language courses, as well as a Master's degree in Space Studies from the International Space University in Strasbourg, France and a Masters in Social Science with an emphasis on Leadership Studies, from Azusa Pacific University, US.
Her current research interest is in application of system dynamics methodology in Futures Studies, and is a founding member of the Japan Futures Research Centre. She has also served as Tokyo Chapter Coordinator of the World Future Society. Rei enjoys working as a writer and translator, as well as teaching Marketing at Business School in Tokyo.
Daniel Rockberger

MSc Space Studies (ISU)
BSc Mechanical Engineering
Daniel is a mechanical and structural engineer at Israel Aerospace Industries for AMOS3 and Amos4 satellites and is the mechanical lead of INSA, the Israeli Nano-Satellite Association, which is currently building its first two nanosatellites, with the launch of the first scheduled during 2009. Daniel has 10 years of experience in the Aerospace realm, including UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), and satellites with emphasis on composite structures.
Daniel is a Master graduate of the International Space University (ISU) from 2006 and performed his internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, working on composite structures for the LRO.
